Wands are the fire of the tarot deck. They speak of desire and drive — the spark that starts projects, fuels ambition and refuses to sit still. When Wands dominate a reading, life is asking you to act, create and burn for something.
What the suit means
In traditional tarot, the Suit of Wands corresponds to the element of fire. Its cards describe energy in motion: inspiration, enterprise, competition, adventure and growth. They tend to point at work you are passionate about, ideas waiting to be realised and the courage it takes to begin.
